What stays on your device

Your cart is stored in your own browser, using a feature called local storage. It is a list of which pieces you tapped the cart icon on. It never leaves your device, we cannot see it, and clearing your browser data deletes it.

If you pick a different currency, that choice is stored the same way, along with the exchange rates so we do not have to fetch them again for a while.

What third parties see

We do not run analytics, but three outside services are involved in loading the page, and each of them necessarily sees your IP address when your browser contacts them.

Google Fonts

Serves the typefaces the site is set in. Your browser requests them from Google, which receives your IP address and browser details as part of that request.

Exchange rate providers

Your browser fetches currency rates once when the shop loads, whether or not you use the currency selector, and caches them for twelve hours. It tries jsDelivr (a public code CDN) first, then Frankfurter or open.er-api.com if that fails. All are free, keyless services; whichever one answers sees your IP address.

Our hosting provider

Serves the pages and keeps standard server logs, which normally include IP addresses and which pages were requested. We do not use these logs for anything beyond keeping the site running.

None of these are used to build a profile of you, and none of them are advertising networks.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own, and there is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

When you contact us

If you email us or send an Instagram message, including through the “make an offer” button, which just opens your own email app with the message pre-written, we keep that conversation so we can answer it and keep track of a sale. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell or share your details with anyone.

When you buy something

Checkout is not live on this site yet; orders currently happen over email or Instagram. When card payments are switched on, they will be handled by a payment processor that collects your payment and delivery details directly. We will update this page with who that is and what they collect before it goes live.

We never see or store your full card number.

Your rights

Since we hold almost nothing, there is usually nothing to request. If you have emailed or messaged us and you want that correspondence deleted, ask and we will delete it.

Depending on where you live you may have formal rights to access, correct, delete or export the personal data an organisation holds about you. Email us and we will honor them.

Changes and contact

If this changes, most likely when checkout goes live, we will update this page and the date at the top.
